Job summary

ESR Group in Sydney is seeking a high-performing Senior Fund Analyst on an 8 month Fixed Term contract to work across ESR-managed funds, partnering with Funds Management, Asset Management, and Finance teams to drive performance and support investment decision-making.

You will contribute to financial modelling, fund analysis, and investor reporting, delivering strategic initiatives and supporting portfolio growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, real estate, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 - 6+ years’ relevant experience across funds management, real estate, investment banking, advisory, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and experience in real estate forecasting tools.
• Experience preparing high-quality presentations and reports (PowerPoint).
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of fund financial models, ensuring accurate forecasting of cash flows, capital requirements, and investment performance
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making and optimise fund outcomes
• Support the preparation of annual business plans, quarterly valuation and reporting, and investor deliverables
• Partner with the Development, Funds Management and Asset Management teams to evaluate acquisitions, developments, leasing, and divestments
• Contribute to the development of fund and asset-level investment strategies and key initiatives
• Undertake market research and analyse relevant economic and real estate data to inform investment decisions
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including with investors and service providers
