Job summary

IQ-EQ in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our Real Estate & Infrastructure team. This hands-on role manages day-to-day financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate and infrastructure funds, ensuring accurate, timely information for clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will oversee NAV and fee calculations, coordinate month-end and year-end closes, ensure regulatory compliance including ATO filings, and collaborate with auditors, tax advisers and

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in fund accounting or investment operations with Australian tax knowledge.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance and CA/CPA/ACCA qualification.
• Understanding of trusts, property accounting and fund administration systems such as Yardi.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain accounting records, NAV calculations, fee calculations and investment transactions for real estate funds.
• Oversee fund operations: capital calls, accruals, invoices, payments, investor reporting, and month-/year-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and perform variance analysis, including rent and lease adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax obligations (ATO filings, etc.).
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, tax advisers and internal teams.
