Job summary

Big Wave Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the customer-facing experience on our financial platform.

You'll own features across the stack, implementing React/TypeScript frontend with .NET backend APIs, and work with design, product, compliance and other engineers to ship high‑quality, accessible code that drives conversion and growth.

Location is Sydney, on-site, with a hands-on role and real ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience with .NET and React/TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases and data-driven rules.
• Ability to write clear, testable code and handle edge cases.
• Comfort with ownership and evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing features in React and TypeScript, and APIs in .NET.
• Improve onboarding, SSO and data requirements.
• Own features from design through release and iterations.
• Collaborate with design, product, compliance, and other engineers.
• Prioritize performance, reliability, accessibility, and maintainability.
