Job summary

Shift is growing its engineering team in Australia, seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who excels in both frontend and backend development. You will design, build, and maintain scalable applications using React and C#/.NET, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers.

You will influence architectural decisions, drive code quality, and ensure accessible, reliable experiences across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production software with substantial experience in both front-end and back-end development (React and .NET)
• Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), and front-end architecture
• Strong, hands-on experience with backend services using C# and .NET
• Proficiency working with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus
• Passion for intuitive, accessible, and reliable applications across the stack
• Excellent testing skills and a commitment to high-quality delivery
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams
• A curious mindset, energized by solving complex challenges in a dynamic environment

We're growing our engineering team and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who excels at both front-end and back-end development. In this role, you'll split your focus evenly creating intuitive user experiences and building robust back-end systems.
