Job summary

Family Doctor is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own highly innovative in-house software in healthcare. You will combine strong full-stack engineering with practical product judgment, understanding business requirements, recommending solutions and delivering secure, reliable software that runs in production.

Qualifications

• Evidence of personally delivering and operating full-stack software in production.
• Experience turning an incomplete business brief into a practical, working solution.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Lambda and DynamoDB, and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with authentication, role-based permissions and secure handling of information.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, production monitoring and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend applications, backend services, APIs, data models and integrations.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Translate priorities into releases with scope, estimates and trade-offs.
• Own features from design through deployment and improvement.
• Make architecture decisions for maintainability and growth.
• Ensure production readiness with testing, access controls and monitoring.
• Investigate production issues and improve reliability.
• Leverage AI tools while ensuring security and maintainability.
• Share knowledge through review and documentation.
• Communicate progress and risks clearly.
