APG Workforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer for NSW Government projects in Sydney CBD. You will design, develop and deliver scalable digital solutions using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot and ReactJS, with APIs, JSON schemas and relational databases.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise software, experience with monitoring tools and containers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable systems and smooth deployment within government

Formación

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Front-end development experience using ReactJS.
• Proven API design, development and integration experience.
• Experience with JSON files and schemas.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, New Relic or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of MySQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of containers and container platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications.
• Develop and enhance full stack solutions using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot and ReactJS.
• Design, build and maintain APIs to support system integration.
• Work with JSON files, schemas and relational databases to support development.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver digital solutions.
• Support end-to-end software development including design, build, test, deploy and maintenance.
• Implement security controls and ensure alignment with standards and best practices.
• Use monitoring/observability tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with platform, release and engineering teams to deliver outcomes.
