Job summary

NinjaTech AI is seeking a senior security/identity engineer in Sydney to own enterprise identity, tenancy, and audit capabilities. You will design and ship SAML/OIDC federation, SCIM provisioning, and admin self-serve features, enabling scalable onboarding for customers.

The role covers architecture through rollout, requiring strong full-stack skills and a track record with enterprise IdPs. Expect a challenging, high-impact environment with fast growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development with production authentication/authorization experience.
• Experience integrating an enterprise IdP.
• Fluency across the stack: TypeScript/React frontend and Python backend.
• Knowledge of cloud identity primitives (Cognito or equivalent).
• Ability to handle migrations, edge cases, and login failure scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise identity end to end: SAML 2.0 / OIDC federation and SCIM provisioning against IdPs.
• Own the tenancy layer — organisations, seats, roles, entitlements — with self-serve admin experiences.
• Build enterprise audit and admin surfaces: access logs, session policy, de-provisioning that revokes access.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed and customer-success engineers on real rollouts.
