Job summary

Fitness Passport Pty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive end-to-end development across a modern stack. You will own features from concept to deployment, building scalable applications and integrating complex systems.

The role emphasizes a strong ownership mindset, collaboration with product and design, and a passion for high-performance, user-focused digital products across web and mobile interfaces.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience with TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, Node and AWS.
• Strong frontend design experience using React and modern CSS/HTML techniques.
• Experience with GraphQL and database design/integration.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).
• Embrace AI-led engineering approach using AI tools to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and influence the system architecture and technical strategy.
• Own features from concept to deployment across frontend and backend.
• Ensure shipping quality, testing, monitoring and production readiness.
• Collaborate with product and design to balance technical excellence with business impact.
• Write clean, modular, scalable code using TypeScript, React and Node.
• Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React/React Native.
• Design and implement GraphQL APIs and integrate with relational/NoSQL databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC for scalable cloud deployments on AWS.
