Job summary

Quartex is seeking a senior software engineer to shape AI-infused delivery, own frontend architecture, and ensure robust production systems. You’ll work across a hybrid AngularJS/Angular stack, with a strong emphasis on TypeScript and modern Java.

You’ll collaborate across backend services and drive engineering standards while maintaining a pragmatic, results-focused approach. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, defend test strategies, and help scale a senior team as AI-enabled workflows mature.

Qualifications

• You have shipped and operated production software, owning systems through incidents and deployments.
• You have strong frontend depth with Angular and TypeScript in production, even in hybrid codebases.
• You’ve shipped production Java (or Kotlin, C#, Go) and understand API/service design.
• You think in terms of failure modes and tests that protect production vs coverage.

Responsibilities

• Shape how AI fits into our delivery workflow and define guardrails for quality.
• Own significant features end-to-end across the stack and steer frontend direction.
• Support production, monitoring, incidents, and live workloads with no separate ops team.
• Make architectural decisions and contribute to engineering standards.
• Lead frontend while ensuring backend readiness and maintainability.
