Job summary

BuiltGrid is building a new software category in connected procurement for the construction industry. We are seeking a senior frontend engineer to shape patterns, tooling, and standards as we deliver new product experiences with AI-first tooling.

You will own the frontend architecture across React web and React Native mobile, collaborating on API contracts and deployment. The role emphasizes UX, accessibility, performance, and safe adoption of AI coding tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable frontend architectures and testing strategies.
• Experience in AI-assisted frontend tooling and safe adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build a React frontend with patterns for components, state management, data fetching, routing, and tooling.
• Write clean TypeScript and React code setting team standards.
• Architect shared frontend between React web and React Native mobile.
• Ensure a strong backend platform supporting multi-sided transactions and partner integrations.
• Collaborate on consolidating legacy screens, workflows, and integrations.
• Translate workflows and business rules into the modern experience.
• Contribute to AI-assisted frontend development practices and reviews.
• Identify UX, performance, and accessibility improvements across the frontend.
• Collaborate on API contracts, delivery pipelines, and deployment concerns.
