Job summary

Quartex is seeking a senior software engineer to shape how AI fits into our delivery workflow. You’ll own features end-to-end across the stack and help modernise our frontend (AngularJS/Angular) while keeping the backend robust.

You’ll join a small, senior team and contribute to engineering standards, incident response, and AI-driven improvements with pragmatic guardrails and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Shipped and operated production software for years.
• Strong frontend depth with Angular and TypeScript in production.
• Backend experience with Java/Kotlin/C#/Go and relational data modelling.
• Think in failure modes and justify tests that protect production.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and in hybrid codebases needing modernization.
• Interest in applying AI to software delivery with guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Shape how AI fits into the delivery workflow, including guardrails and practices.
• Own significant features end-to-end across the stack and steer frontend direction.
• Support production, monitoring, incidents and live workloads.
• Make architectural and technical decisions and contribute to engineering standards.
• Lead frontend development while maintaining backend excellence.
