Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking an senior front-end engineer who can translate design systems into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces and collaborate across the stack. You will work with React/Next.js, TypeScript and modern tooling to ship iterative UI components and prototypes.

You will engage with client teams, optimize performance and accessibility, and contribute to cloud-enabled front-end delivery using AWS, GCP or Azure.

Qualifications

• Front-end mastery with 8+ years in modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Sitecore or Angular), TS/JS, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive UIs with design systems.
• REST/GraphQL APIs and cross-stack contributions (Node.js, Python or Java) when needed.
• Focus on Core Web Vitals, performance, accessibility and inclusive experiences (WCAG).
• Rapid prototyping: turns loose problems into interactive prototypes in days.
• Hands-on testing across SDLC with Jest, RTL, Playwright or Cypress and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, CI/CD).
• AI-led building approach and guardrails for reliable front-end delivery.
• Cloud deployments on AWS, GCP or Azure; quick uptake of new cloud services.
• Client-facing mindset: translate business problems into experiences and explain trade-offs clearly.

• Design-to-code craftsmanship – you translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive UIs, work fluently with design systems and component libraries, and care deeply about micro-interactions, motion and visual polish.
• Full-stack versatility – while your depth is on the front end, you are comfortable integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and can contribute across the stack (Node.js, Python or Java) when the work demands it.
• A bias for rapid prototyping – you turn a loosely defined problem into a working, interactive prototype in days, and let real user feedback rather than a perfect spec drive each iteration.
• Modern testing & tooling – you work hands‑on across the SDLC with unit, component and end‑to‑end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress) and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, CI/CD).
• An AI‑led approach to building – you reach for AI coding assistants and agentic tooling by default to move faster, and can build the guardrails that make front‑end delivery reliable and consistent.
