Overview

Role Purpose

• Embed directly with clients to understand their business problems first-hand, building the peer-level relationships that let you shape the right solution on the ground
• Rapidly translate ambiguous problems into working prototypes and a pragmatic delivery plan, de-risking the approach by getting something real in front of the client early
• Work hands‑on across strategy, design and engineering — liaising with Enterprise Architects, Designers and Business Analysts to turn concepts into usable, feasible, production‑ready solutions
• Own delivery end‑to‑end on the ground, communicating clearly with track leads and mentoring a collaborative team to meet and exceed client expectations

What you will bring

• Deep engineering foundations - you bring 10+ years of software engineering and a Computer Science background (or equivalent), with mastery of the fundamentals behind scalable, testable architecture and the breadth to move fluently across languages, stacks, and problem domains.
• Full‑stack versatility - you work hands‑on across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with depth in Python, Java, React or similar frameworks, and own problems end‑to‑end, switching layers and tools as the work demands
• A bias for rapid prototyping - you turn a loosely defined problem into a working prototype in days, put something tangible in front of the client early, and let real feedback rather than a perfect spec drive each iteration.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity - you can step into an unfamiliar client environment with an ill‑defined brief, ask the right questions, and shape it into a concrete technical plan without waiting for detailed requirements.
• A forward‑deployed, client‑facing mindset - you work embedded alongside client teams, translate business problems into technical solutions, and explain trade‑offs clearly to engineers and non‑technical stakeholders alike.
• An AI‑led approach to building - you reach for AI coding assistants and agentic tooling by default to move faster, and you can engineer the harnesses (evals, test scaffolding, and guardrails) that make non‑deterministic AI systems reliable enough to ship.
• Hands‑on cloud experience - you've built and deployed in AWS, GCP or Azure, and you pick up new cloud services quickly as the work demands.
