Job summary

A S Consultants Pty Ltd, trading as AI Labs Solutions, based in Lakemba, NSW, is seeking an experienced Developer Programmer for a full-time, permanent role at our Lakemba office. You will design, develop, deploy and support software across car rental, accounting and AI products, with influence over architecture and technology choices.

You will work on backend services, RESTful APIs, databases, and modern front-end interfaces, deploying on Azure/AWS with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Developer Programmer, Software Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong full‑stack skills in C#, ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core, SQL Server and a modern JavaScript framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain web and mobile applications for our car rental, accounting and AI products.
• Build backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core, and integrate third‑party systems such as payment gateways, insurance providers, vehicle data services and accounting platforms.
• Design and optimise SQL Server / MySQL databases for application and reporting needs.
• Develop responsive front‑end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and a modern framework (React, Angular or Vue).
• Deploy and maintain applications on Azure / AWS using CI/CD pipelines, and support live production systems.
• Analyse client and business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and documentation.
• Integrate AI models and services into product features.
• Apply Agile practices, including code reviews, automated testing and Git version control, and mentor junior developers.
