Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for the Tax and Legal Digital team to help clients build and adopt new technology.

You will design and implement user-facing features, optimise applications, and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver high-value enterprise solutions for internal and external clients. Hybrid work model available, with strong focus on modern web stacks.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end software solutions in modern web stacks.
• Proficiency with front-end and back-end web technologies and standards.
• Expertise with ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, and NestJS.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and SQL; Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.

What you’ll do:

• Build libraries and frameworks to support large, complex web applications.
• Design and implement new user-facing features for both internal and external clients.
• Optimise web applications to maximize speed and scale.
• Write client-side code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, as well as innovative, market-leading prototypes.
• Work closely and efficiently with our team of industry leading developers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

What we’re looking for:

• A background in end-to-end software delivery, with expertise in modern web technologies—including object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3—and current web standards.
• Proven experience in aspects of the web development stack including protocols and web server optimisation techniques, and are comfortable developing frontend (using ReactJS, NextJS) and backend (using NodeJS, NestJS) components. MongoDB, SQL, Python.
• GenAI experiences are also beneficial as is any work on CI/CD automation.
• An understanding of the broader software development life cycle, DevOps technologies and are focused on delivering robust, high value software.
• A natural willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly and thrive off solving complex problems.
• You are passionate about being at the forefront of change.
