Job summary

Resly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help shape how we build and scale our hospitality software. You will own complex problems, design scalable solutions across the stack, and deliver high-quality features that impact our product direction.

You’ll mentor peers, raise engineering standards, and contribute to architectural decisions while collaborating closely with product and design to ship value quickly. This is a remote role across AUS/NZ and beyond.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Resly, you’re not just building features - you’re helping shape how we build.

You’ll take ownership of complex problems, design scalable solutions, and work across the stack to deliver high-quality, impactful outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring others, improving our engineering practices, and contributing to technical direction.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Seeking

• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer, with a track record of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable systems in production environments
• Deep expertise in Node.js and React (or comparable technologies), with sound judgement on when to apply different tools and patterns
• Strong grounding in modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews), with practical use of AI-assisted development (e.g. prompt engineering, AI agents) to enhance productivity and code quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make pragmatic, well-reasoned decisions
• Experience working in agile, high-velocity teams, ideally within startup or scale-up environments
• Hands-on experience operating in cloud environments (e.g. GCP or similar), including deploying, debugging, and optimising live systems, not just designing for them
• Comfortable working remotely across time zones, with strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, Typescript, GCP, Firebase
• Experience improving architecture or scaling systems
• Experience mentoring or leading other developers
