Job summary

Trendspek, based in Sydney, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a small senior team building a precision remote-inspection platform. You will work on 3D geospatial interfaces and a local-first data layer, delivering scalable SPA experiences used for real infrastructure.

The role emphasizes performance, security, and AI-enhanced workflows, with collaboration across Product and Design. You’ll be onsite in Haymarket ~3 days/week with flexible options as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Vue 3 + TypeScript experience.
• Track record owning complex, stateful SPAs.
• Comfort with async data and client-side persistence.
• Security-conscious frontend work and multi-tenant access control.
• AI-assisted engineering as part of daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own significant features from spec to production.
• Write clear technical specs and pragmatic trade-offs.
• Improve testing, code review, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and be the technical reference on the inspection surface.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to turn ambiguous problems into shipped value.
