Job description

Hey, Welcome. We reckon that if you're an experienced React/TypeScript engineer who likes being close to the product, this could be a good one for you.

They're a Brisbane SaaS business that's been around for roughly seven years. They're profitable, backed by a Singapore-based VC, doing ~$10M ARR and planning to double the business over the next couple of years.

So this isn't three founders, a pitch deck and six months of runway. There's a real product, real customers and a good business behind it.

They're now investing further in the product and engineering team, including someone who can take genuine ownership of the front end.

What you'd be working on: The platform brings together a lot of data, analytics and customer intelligence. Your job is to make that complexity easy to use. You'll build dashboards, analytics, workflows and interactive data experiences using React and TypeScript, with plenty of opportunity to influence how the front end is structured and evolves.

You'll work closely with Product and Design from the early conversations through to production, rather than sitting downstream waiting for finished tickets.

• Performance, accessibility and testing
• Reusable components and sensible engineering standards

What we're looking for: You'll be an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys solving product problems, not just writing code. Someone comfortable asking questions, working through different approaches and contributing ideas about how something should work before deciding how to build it.

You’ll have solid commercial experience with React and TypeScript, and ideally some exposure to products involving data, analytics, dashboards, or more complex customer workflows.

Experience with B2B SaaS or interactive charting/data visualisation would be useful, but we’re equally interested in people who’ve solved similar problems in other environments.

They're investing in engineering, have meaningful growth planned over the next couple of years, and this person will have plenty of opportunity to influence how the front end develops as the product grows.

They've also just moved into brand-new offices on Adelaide Street in Brisbane CBD. The team works together in the office Monday to Thursday, with Friday from home.
