Job summary

CORTO, a cutting-edge software company in Sydney, is seeking a Software Engineer to own the front end of our in-house application used to build and maintain the legal templates and forms across multiple countries. You will shape UI features end to end, from understanding requests to release, and influence how the application looks and behaves.

Join our Content Systems team, a highly technical group building the legal data backbone powering our products for law firms and related industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with frontend focus.
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework.
• Strong programming skills in C#/.NET.
• Habit of writing unit tests and producing clean, maintainable code.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Even better if you have WPF and XAML with MVVM.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features for LEAP Design from UI design through to release.
• Turn designs and user feedback into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
• Keep the UI fast and responsive with sound async and state management.
• Structure UI code with MVVM patterns and reusable components.
• Lead technical design, review code and set testing/maintainability standards.
• Identify and reduce technical debt in an established codebase.
