CORTO is a cutting-edge software company redefining the legal industry and based in Sydney. We are scaling to 250+ employees and building AI-driven document automation for lawyers, paralegals and assistants.

We seek a mid-level backend engineer to join a three-person team, extending and owning integrations, delivering scalable solutions using C#/.NET, AWS, and REST APIs in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong backend experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and AWS-based services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Extend current integrations and own new integrations for the document automation core product.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards and development tooling.
