Job summary

Condor Energy Services is seeking a Senior Frac Operator to support field operations in Queensland. You will safely operate and maintain fracture stimulation equipment, including high‑pressure pumps and sand delivery systems, as part of an on‑site crew focused on safety and efficiency.

• Minimum two years’ proven experience in fracture stimulation operations.
• Practical experience operating frac equipment, including sand delivery systems and high‑pressure pumps.
• Sound understanding of oil and gas field operations, equipment handling and HSEQ requirements.
• Ability to follow operational procedures, work safely and with a suitable level of independence.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate frac equipment in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Operate sand delivery systems, high‑pressure pumps and hydration units.
• Maintain a safe work environment following HSEQ policies and site requirements.
• Participate in pre‑start talks, toolbox talks, safety briefings and incident reporting.
• Perform manual handling and field duties including rig‑up/rig‑down of equipment.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning and demobilisation preparations.
• Monitor equipment condition and report field inventory levels and shortages.

About the Role

Condor Energy Services is an established and growing company operating across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking one Senior Frac Operator to support our field operations in Queensland.

As a Senior Frac Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining critical fracture stimulation equipment, including high-pressure pumps, sand delivery systems and hydration units. You will work as part of an operational crew, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of field operations while demonstrating a high level of technical competence and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate frac equipment in accordance with approved operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Operate and assist with sand conveyor systems, high-pressure pumps and hydration units.
• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with Condor Energy Services' HSEQ policies and site requirements.
• Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety briefings and incident reporting.
• Perform manual handling and field duties, including rig-up and rig-down of equipment.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning, preparation for demobilisation
• Monitor equipment condition, managing and reporting field inventory levels, reporting issues or shortages to Supervisors.
• Follow operational instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Demonstrate sound judgement, initiative and the ability to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
• Maintain fitness for work and drive vehicles when required.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by Supervisors.

Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have

• A minimum of two years’ proven experience in fracture stimulation operations.
• Practical experience operating frac equipment, including sand delivery systems and high-pressure pumps.
• A sound understanding of oil and gas field operations, equipment handling and HSEQ requirements.
• The ability to follow operational procedures, work safely and perform duties with an appropriate level of independence.
• A demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety and operational performance.

The following licences, permits and certifications are essential or highly desirable for this role:

• HC or MC driver's licence.
• Well Site Permit to Work Holder.
• Operate and Maintain a 4WD.
• Load Restraint.
• Forklift licence.
• Telescopic Material Handler qualification.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Licence to transport Dangerous Goods.
• Radiation User QLD
