Job summary

Zurich Cover-More in Australia seeks a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to influence commercial outcomes and drive performance improvements across the ANZ region. You will partner with senior leaders to plan, analyse and manage budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.

The role emphasizes driver-based modelling, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering insights that support decision-making. A hybrid work setup with in-office and wfh days is offered.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is required.
• 5+ years' experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Management.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Experience driving process improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience working in a complex or matrixed organisation.
• Insurance industry experience is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the ANZ business.
• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models covering revenue, expenses and headcount.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and provide meaningful insights into business performance.
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities, helping leaders make informed decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Drive process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements, including leveraging Power BI and other analytical tools.
• Support governance, financial controls and compliance with Zurich standards.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to deliver planning and reporting requirements.
