Job summary

NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (the NSW ICAC) invites applications for a Senior Forensic Accountant in Sydney. The role applies forensic accounting and financial investigation expertise to allegations of corrupt conduct within the Commission’s work.

Based in the Financial Investigation Unit, you will work with multidisciplinary teams and have opportunities to become an expert in the field. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and superannuation

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Business.
• Membership with CA ANZ and/or CPA Australia desirable.
• Experience in financial accounting practices and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to interpret financial information.
• Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply forensic accounting and financial investigation expertise.
• Investigate allegations of serious or systemic corrupt conduct.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop expertise in the field and contribute to investigations.
• Possess ability to obtain AGSVA clearance at Baseline level.
