Total Construction is seeking a General Foreman for commercial projects in Sydney. You will oversee trades, manage site safety, coordinate progress with the construction program, and lead the site team to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• High level ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Well-developed planning skills including industry knowledge.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of construction trades and ability to assess quality of workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Assist in overseeing and managing all trades on site.
• Oversee the implementation of site safety and ensure procedures are monitored.
• Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and coordinate trades.
• Manage and coach staff, leading the team to achieve project and personal goals.
• Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure required standards.
• Schedule and coordinate other site staff with priority issues.
• Issue site instructions and correspondence to trades and consultants.
• Report to Site Manager on current or potential issues.
