Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a Foreman to join a leading Class 2 residential builder delivering high‑quality developments across Sydney. Working with Site Manager and Project Manager, you will coordinate day‑to‑day construction works and supervise trades to ensure safety, schedule, and quality.

This role focuses on site sequencing, reading drawings, and managing inspections while maintaining a productive site environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman within Class 2 residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methodologies and processes.
• Experience delivering projects over $80 million.
• Experience managing trades and subcontractors on site.
• Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lead from the front and maintain a productive site environment.
• Relevant construction qualifications and licences.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site activities and construction works.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Managing site sequencing, program and short-term planning.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise.
• Coordinating inspections and ensuring works meet project requirements.
• Working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, consultants and subcontractors.
• Assisting with project handover and defects where required.
