Buildability Group Professional Roles – Brisbane QLD is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead client relationships within a dynamic Facilities Management environment in Hendra, Brisbane. You will drive service excellence, manage commercial performance and support account growth.

The role demands strong FM knowledge, commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate contracts, renewals and budgets while coordinating internal teams to deliver KPIs and value to the client.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in Facilities Management or related industry.
• Experience managing client accounts, contracts or service delivery.
• Strong understanding of FM contracts and SLAs.
• Experience managing budgets and financial performance.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Experience managing contractors and service providers.
• Sound understanding of WHS, compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing strong, long-term client relationships.
• Acting as the key escalation point for contractual and service-related matters.
• Identifying opportunities for account growth, additional services and contract extensions.
• Managing contract renewals and supporting negotiations.
• Preparing and presenting monthly financial, operational and KPI reports.
• Managing client budgets and monitoring account profitability.
• Working with internal teams to identify cost efficiencies and improve margins.
• Coordinating invoicing and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitoring contractor and service performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Supporting asset replacement strategies and CAPEX programs.
• Overseeing statutory, safety and compliance requirements.
• Working closely with Service Management, Estimating and Asset teams.
• Supporting the onboarding of new clients and ensuring smooth implementation.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Supporting sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Providing guidance and support to operational teams around client requirements.
• Managing client escalations and supporting after-hours requirements when necessary.
