Job summary

You will perform hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, and stormwater design, while mentoring junior staff and supporting proposals. The right candidate will shape our practices and grow with the business over the next decade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years consulting experience in water resources.
• Accreditation toward chartered status is highly regarded.
• Experience in Australian consulting, local government, or related sectors beneficial.
• Strong reporting, data analysis, and modelling methodology documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver floodplain and surface water projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, and stormwater design.
• Prepare technical reports and validate modelling outputs.
• Collaborate with directors, peers, and clients; mentor junior engineers.
• Support proposals and help shape best-practice approaches to flooding.
