Job summary

Aurecon in Perth is seeking a Senior Flood Modeller to lead flood modelling packages end-to-end and contribute to projects across WA. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality technical outputs.

This role offers mentoring of junior modellers, direct engagement with clients and stakeholders, and the opportunity to influence proposals and win work while delivering trusted technical advice and sound engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in flood modelling and flood risk assessment with hydrologic/hydraulic outputs and clear reporting.
• Ability to interpret and apply WA and Australian guidance/standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood modelling packages end-to-end (scope, methodology, delivery and quality).
• Support multidisciplinary projects with civil, water, environment, transport and planning teams.
• Engage directly with WA clients and stakeholders, contributing to trusted technical advice.
• Mentor and develop junior modellers/engineers, helping grow capability across the team.
• Contribute to proposals and work winning across WA opportunities.
