Morse Micro is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join on-site at Surry Hills. You will develop RTOS-based firmware for 802.11ah devices, implement drivers and network stack components, and create Python tooling for testing and debugging.

Collaborating across hardware and software teams, you will optimize for power, footprint and performance while contributing to IoT Wi-Fi HaLow solutions. Strong C and RTOS experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant embedded software experience.
• Proficient in C for firmware development.
• Experience with FreeRTOS or RT-Thread RTOS.

Responsibilities

• RTOS device driver development.
• Network stack/protocol development, integration, and debugging.
• Implementation of upper layers of the 802.11ah standard in firmware.
• Python scripts for testing, troubleshooting and debugging.
• Customer interaction to implement features and resolve issues.
