Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering with professional registration or progress towards Chartership.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pumping systems and pressure pipework.
• Experience delivering mechanical infrastructure projects in rail, transport or tunnel environments.
• Mentorship of graduate engineers and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of mechanical drainage, pumped and wet fire systems.
• Apply hydraulic principles to complex infrastructure challenges.
• Review designs for quality, constructability and performance.
• Support risk assessments, design reviews and assurance processes.
