Job summary

WSP Sydney is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead design across diverse projects and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

You will drive fire protection strategy, ensure compliance with Australian Standards, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions across the Sydney market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience in building services projects in Australia.
• Strong technical expertise in fire protection design and documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit MEP and NavisWorks.
• Consulting experience preferred, but candidates from D&C backgrounds welcome for senior consulting role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with people.
• Positive, energetic attitude and genuine passion for engineering.

WSP Sydney's Building Services team is looking to add an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing team. What You’ll Do

As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of design excellence, leading fire protection strategies across diverse and exciting projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and help drive our Sydney office’s growth and innovation.
