Job summary

Atom Resources is seeking an experienced Fire Designer / Fire Design Engineer to join a leading fire protection contractor in NSW. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive fire protection designs for data centres and large commercial projects, using Revit and AutoCAD, with a clear path to senior design leadership.

The position offers exposure to high-profile projects, structured training, and a supportive design team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Fire Protection designs for contractors.
• Fire Protection design experience.
• Strong Revit experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experience designing Wet and/or Dry Fire systems.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a project environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce Fire Protection designs using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop fabrication and construction drawings.
• Complete hydraulic calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards.
• Support Project Managers throughout project delivery.
• Attend design coordination meetings.
• Conduct site visits and resolve design issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and procurement packages.
• Review engineering deliverables and maintain quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
