Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst or Senior Associate for its Melbourne Corporate Finance team. You will design, develop and deliver financial models that handle complex accounting treatments, financial structures and business requirements, transforming data into practical insights for clients.

You will work with clients and internal stakeholders to drive strategic decisions, mentor juniors and contribute to multiple engagements across the firm.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2+ years' experience in Corporate Finance, Advisory, Audit, Tax, Banking, Transaction Services or Financial Analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business drivers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions to understand business requirements.
• Assist in financial model design, specification and budgeting processes.
• Build, maintain and enhance financial models in accordance with modelling best practice.
• Analyse financial and operational information to support strategic decision-making.
• Support project management activities across multiple engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Finance and the wider firm.
• Assist with mentoring junior team members.
