Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Melbourne. You will design, develop and deliver financial models that reflect complex accounting treatments and business requirements, helping clients make informed decisions.

Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, you will transform data into practical insights, support budgeting processes and contribute to multiple engagements across the firm in a dynamic, people-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Advisory, Audit, Tax, Banking, or Financial Analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions to understand business requirements.
• Assist in financial model design, specification and budgeting processes.
• Build, maintain and enhance financial models in line with modelling best practice.
• Analyze financial and operational information to support decision-making.
• Support project management across engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Finance and the wider firm.
• Mentor junior team members.
