Job summary

Central Real Capital is seeking a Financial Controller to partner with the Founder/CEO and Co-COOs on the Central Coast. You will lead a small Finance team, own the day-to-day finance function, and drive strategic financial decisions.

You will bring a CA/CPA with 4+ years in a similar role, with banking or private lending experience and strong AASB 9 knowledge. This is a hands-on leadership position with significant cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day Finance function (cash flow, treasury, reporting, forecasting, compliance, audit).
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain robust controls, risk management and compliance.
• Provide financial insight to leadership and look for efficiencies to improve processes.

The role

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day Finance function.

Cash flow. Treasury. Reporting. Forecasting. Compliance. Audit.

You’ll oversee AR, AP and payroll.

You’ll manage month-end and financial reporting.

You’ll keep a close eye on controls, risk and compliance.

And you’ll be the person looking at the Finance function and asking:

“Can we do this better?”

You’ll lead the team, support the wider business and provide the financial insight leadership needs to make good decisions.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a qualified CA/CPA with 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Banking or private lending experience is important.

You’ll need strong technical accounting knowledge, including AASB 9 and complex accounting calculations.

You’ll also need to be hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable leading a team.
