Job summary

Grove is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Group's finance function from its Pakenham office. You will develop and direct a high‑performing team, deliver accurate management accounts, and drive transformational change with data‑led decision support.

With 5+ years in a Financial Controller role, you will champion system implementations (MYOB/Pronto), optimise reporting, and partner with senior stakeholders to forecast and budget across multiple divisions.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent with 5+ years in a Financial Controller role.
• Experience transforming a finance team and leading high‑performers.
• MYOB and Pronto ERP experience or similar systems essential.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and advanced Excel modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
• Partner with management to deliver budgeting, forecasting and project monitoring.
• Design dashboards and provide timely financial analysis for commercial decisions.
• Monitor costs and drive cost savings, KPI tracking and operational statistics.
• Coordinate management reporting and support transformation initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
