Job summary

Australia EV Company seeks a Financial Controller to own finance across a multi-site, multi-entity operation. You will partner with senior leadership and site operators, turning numbers into decisions that boost profitability, cash and performance. A senior seat with autonomy and visibility awaits.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, manage working capital and oversee payroll, AP/AR, banking and treasury, while strengthening governance and risk practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce with professional qualification.
• 8+ years in finance or accounting, with leadership experience.
• Full sets of financial statements and tax/compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, consolidation and month-end across entities.
• Turn dealership and aftersales data into clear commercial insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Manage working capital, inventory funding and stock financing.
• Oversee payroll, AP/AR, banking and treasury operations.
• Ensure tax and compliance obligations are met with advisers.
• Strengthen governance, controls and risk practices.
• Improve processes and finance systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and develop a finance team across locations.
