Job summary

360 Underwriting Solutions Pty is seeking a Senior Financial & Management Accountant to join the Finance team in Australia. The role offers hands‑on responsibility with a clear pathway to a Finance Manager position within 3–5 years, delivering accurate reporting and driving process improvements.

You will support acquisitions and new agency start‑ups, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across the organisation to strengthen financial operations and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a corporate finance environment
• Insurance industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel proficiency
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to adapt style to different audiences
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• A collaborative, team‑focused approach with the ability to mentor others
• A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes
• High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reports for review by the Financial Controller and CFO
• Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to support decision‑making
• Maintain audit readiness, ensure compliance, and complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and agency start‑ups
• Mentor and support junior finance team members while providing cross‑skilling across the team
• Build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Improve and refine processes to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and support the FC, CFO and Executive Directors as required
