Grove Securities, part of the Fortuna Advisory Group, is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser in our West Perth office. You will deliver tailored financial advice to individuals, families, and entities such as trusts and SMSFs, building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities include retirement planning, wealth management, tax and estate planning, and mentoring junior advisers. A strong ethical mindset and regulatory compliance are essential to success.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial planning or advisory roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • SMSF knowledge and industry designations are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored financial advice to individuals, families, and business entities including trusts and SMSFs.
  • Develop and implement retirement, wealth, tax, and estate planning strategies.
  • Manage and nurture long-term client relationships with consistent communication and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
  • Provide tailored financial advice to a diverse range of clients including individuals, families, and business owners and entities like Trusts, SMSF’s.
  • Conduct in-depth client reviews, identifying financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies including retirement planning, wealth management, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Manage and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and service excellence.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
  • Ensure all financial advice and practices comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial transactions in line with compliance requirements.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to stay compliant with regulatory changes.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior advisers and support staff.
  • Lead by example in client servicing, strategic thinking, and ethical practice.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes growth and development.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial planning or advisory roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Experience in advising in Self Managed Super funds will be highly regarded
  • SMSF Association membership and SMSF Specialist Adviser designation will be highly regarded
  • Deep understanding of Self Managed Super Fund structures, financial products, investment strategies, tax laws, and retirement planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to financial advising.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team mentorship.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
