Cartwright Jones, based in Sydney CBD, seeks a Senior Financial Adviser to take over an established book of 80–100 high-net-worth clients. You will provide strategic financial planning and wealth management without building from scratch, leveraging warm referrals and onshore support.

You’ll work with accountants, lawyers and other professionals to manage trusts, SMSFs, direct equities, retirement and estate planning, with a clear pathway to equity as the practice grows and your leadership

Formación

• Experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner with high-net-worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of trusts, SMSFs and direct equities.
• FAR registration and compliance with ASIC education standards.
• Proven ability to build trust, retain clients and convert referrals.
• Comfortable working with accountants and lawyers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic financial planning and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Structure family and discretionary trust arrangements across multiple entities.
• Develop SMSF strategies including contributions, accumulation and retirement planning.
• Construct and manage direct equity portfolios for clients.

• Run annual reviews, deepen relationships, and collaborate with clients’ accountants and lawyers.

Senior Financial Adviser – Private Wealth, Sydney CBD

A respected and growing private wealth practice in the Sydney CBD is looking for an experienced Financial Adviser to take over an established book of 80 to 100 high-net-worth clients.

This role suits a Senior Financial Adviser, Financial Planner or Wealth Advisor who wants more than a salary. You’ll step into existing client relationships rather than build from scratch. Referrals arrive steadily, a dedicated onshore team handles the paraplanning and admin, and there’s a genuine opportunity to buy into the business over time.

• Base salary: $160K–$180K+ plus super and a performance bonus (negotiable for an exceptional candidate)

The role

• You’ll provide strategic financial planning and wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners, including:
• Family and discretionary trust structures across multiple entities
• SMSF strategy covering contributions, accumulation and retirement phase
• Direct equity portfolio construction and ongoing management
• Retirement, succession and estate planning
• Wealth protection and risk insurance
• You’ll run annual reviews, deepen existing relationships, and work closely with clients’ accountants and lawyers. You’ll also convert warm referrals into long-term clients and help shape the practice as it grows.

About you

• Solid experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner
• Strong technical knowledge of trusts, SMSFs and direct equities
• Listed on the Financial Advisers Register (FAR) and meeting ASIC’s education standard
• Proven ability to build trust, retain clients and convert referrals
• Confident working alongside accountants, lawyers and other professionals
