Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) is hiring a Financial Accountant to own the month-end close, management accounts and ensure reporting accuracy across multi-region operations. Based at our Sydney facility, you’ll work closely with FP&A, auditors and technical teams to strengthen controls and compliance.

The role demands CA/CPA with 4–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, strong AASB/Corporations Act knowledge, payroll understanding and ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• AASB knowledge and US GAAP exposure.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Financial accounting experience in professional services or industry.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close within defined timetable including journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts across regions and assist statutory reporting.
• Document accounting policies for R&D, leases, grants and foreign currency.
• Oversee payroll processing and compliance.
• Support R&D Tax Incentive claim and strengthen internal controls for SOX readiness.
• Assist NetSuite implementation and month-end workflows.
• Partner with FP&A and budget holders on variances.
