Job summary

About the role We are hiring a Financial Accountant into Finance, the team that keeps SQC's reporting, controls and compliance in step with a fast-scaling, multi-region deep-tech business. You will own the month-end close and the monthly management accounts, and be central to the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of everything SQC reports. The reporting environment is genuinely complex. You will close across multiple regions, including intercompany, reconcile between AASB and US GAAP, and apply policy positions on R&D expenditure, grant income, leases, share-based payments and foreign currency. Alongside the close, you will oversee payroll and its compliance, support the R&D Tax Incentive claim, and help strengthen SQC's control environment as we implement NetSuite and SOX-aligned processes.
