Job summary

Perpetual Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to deliver accurate financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the business. You will work with stakeholders to maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with accounting standards and support the evolution of finance systems.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• Minimum five years' experience in a similar financial services role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and standards application.
• Experience with Workday preferred; advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own month-end accounting activities, including accruals, prepayments, amortisation and reclassifications.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with policies and standards.
• Manage balance sheet controls, reconcile items and maintain robust audit trails.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, disclosures, audit support and accounting documentation.
• Support improvements to financial processes, controls, reporting and data quality.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships across finance and business systems.
