Fordham, part of Perpetual Wealth, is seeking an Accountant to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality financial statements and tax returns for diverse client entities. You will support tax compliance, planning and research across wealth and asset protection matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce is required.
• CA or CPA studies underway or completed for professional advancement.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and time-management skills required.
• Clear communication and strong research skills; ability to propose practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs.
• Complete tax compliance work including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, payroll and indirect tax calculations.
• Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives.
• Research tax, business structuring, wealth and asset protection issues for clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver commercially relevant outcomes.
• Identify risks and elevate matters when appropriate.
