Job summary

Lycopodium is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant for its Perth-based team. The role reports to the Group Finance Manager and focuses on delivering accurate financial and statutory reporting, supporting strategic decisions and improvingGroup Finance processes.

You will lead consolidated monthly reporting, perform in-depth analysis, coordinate audits, and manage taxation and compliance while partnering with operations on budgeting and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree with CA/CPA preferred.
• Extensive experience in senior financial accounting and complex reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation and monthly reporting across the Group.
• Provide financial analysis, variance reporting and insights for decisions.
• Prepare half-year and year-end statutory financial statements per ASX standards.
• Coordinate external audits and resolve audit matters with auditors.
• Oversee taxation and statutory compliance incl. BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, income tax.
• Collaborate with operational teams on budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, controls and governance.
