Pacific Energy Ltd, an Australian market leader in sustainable distributed energy, seeks a Senior Group Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Group Finance function, you will deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong controls and provide technical accounting expertise across the business.

You will lead month-end close, consolidations and statutory reporting, coordinate internal and external audits, support budgets and forecasts, and drive continuous improvement across

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, audit or similar roles.
• Strong technical accounting and complex reporting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and governance frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Group month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting.
• Prepare annual consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Support Group budgets, forecasts and reforecasts.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and ERP controls.
