Qualifications

• Experience recruiting senior finance professionals, particularly Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Finance Directors or CFOs.
• Strong understanding of the finance recruitment market and the ability to engage credibly with senior candidates and clients.
• A genuine interest in executive search and working on retained assignments.
• Professionalism, intellectual curiosity, integrity and ambition.
• A commercial mindset, strong work ethic and comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a high-performing collaborative team culture.

We're partnering exclusively with an established and highly regarded executive search firm to appoint an experienced Senior Finance Recruiter to join its Sydney business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the relationship-driven side of recruitment, wants to work on more senior and complex assignments and is looking for a business where quality, reputation and long-term relationships genuinely matter.

You'll be working alongside experienced search professionals, partnering with senior decision-makers and delivering appointments across CFO, Finance Director and other senior finance positions.

The client base is impressive, spanning financial services, investment management, private equity-backed businesses and the broader corporate market.

The opportunity

Who we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with experienced executive search professionals and senior finance recruiters who have a strong track record of delivering senior-level finance appointments. Whether you're already operating in executive search or looking to make that transition, we'd be keen to hear from you.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Experience recruiting senior finance professionals, particularly Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, Finance Directors or CFOs.

• A strong understanding of the finance recruitment market and the ability to engage credibly with senior candidates and clients.

• A genuine interest in executive search and working on retained assignments.

• Professionalism, intellectual curiosity, integrity and ambition.

• A commercial mindset, strong work ethic and comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a high-performing collaborative team culture.

Experience recruiting within investment banking, funds management or private equity would be advantageous, but it's certainly not essential.

We're interested in hearing from successful senior finance recruiters working within established recruitment businesses who are ready to take their career into search.
