Job summary

Lanson Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to drive financial performance, commercial decision-making and strategic outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders across banking products to provide commercial and strategic financial insight, and lead modelling, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA, strong analytical skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Finance business partnering experience in retail banking or financial services.
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong modelling with scenario analysis and decision support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to play a key role in driving financial performance, commercial decision-making and strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders across various banking products and perfomrnace metrics to provide commercial and strategic financial insight.
• Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for key business areas.
• Provide robust financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Challenge business performance and assumptions, ensuring financial outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives.
• Support the delivery of revenue, cost, productivity and profitability targets.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, concise insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support strategic initiatives, transformation programs and major business projects from a financial perspective.

Required experience

• Strong finance business partnering experience, ideally within retail banking or financial services.
• CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified.
• Strong financial modelling experience with a background in scenario analysis and decision support.
• Commercially minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn financial data into compelling business insights.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment and managing competing priorities.
