Job summary

Suncorp in Sydney is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst for Motor Claims to drive financial performance of a large portfolio. You will own budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting while delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

You'll partner with Motor Claims and Finance leaders, translate complex data into clear recommendations, and mentor juniors within a collaborative, high-performing team with strong mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance roles.
• Insurance industry experience is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management and forecasting skills.
• Degree in business or finance required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver month end and year end reporting, journals, estimates and commentary for the Motor Claims portfolio.
• Analyse claims performance against budget and forecast with actionable insights.
• Partner across Finance and Claims to manage budgeting and forecasting end to end.
• Build and enhance reporting with Power Query for clarity and automation.
• Identify process improvements to simplify reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Turn large data sets into practical, business-focused insights.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor junior members.
