Reporting to the Superintendent – Resource Development, this permanent, full-time FIFO role is an important part of our Geology team at Telfer Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing and supporting daily operations across the core yard and drilling activities, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance, the Senior Field Technician will lead and mentor field and coreyard teams, coordinate logistics, assist with equipment upkeep, manage supplies, and maintain clear communication with the resource development team to keep operations running smoothly and on schedule.

Telfer is a long-life gold-copper mine in the Paterson Province of Western Australia’s East Pilbara region. The operation includes both open-pit and underground mining and Australia’s third-largest gold-copper processing facility. Since commencing production in 1975, Telfer has produced over 15 million ounces of gold. The site operates on a fly-in fly-out basis and offers a wide range of onsite recreational facilities to support workforce wellbeing.
